The beginning of petits pas

This is the first day that I'm actually beginning. I am having mixed emotions. Excited, scared, nervous .... and the list goes on.

I've always been one to make creations of knitting and crocheting and it's just now that I might have some time to start a small business from it. I know it takes time and patience to see it through.
I'm hoping to have enough time to make some small pieces to begin with. I'm looking into ETSY and artfire and trying to figure out where to go from there. I will try the craft shows in our area and such things as that.
The difficult thing is that it's hard to profit from it because you put so much time in it and you don't always get back all the time you put into it. Good thing I love it :)

I'm working on a dress for my niece at the moment and I can't wait to see it all done and on her. I have two wonderful boys and over the years have knitted them some vests and they love them. It's a treat for me to make something pretty :)
